				<description> On 27 October 2009 the European Court made public a judgment on the case « Pandjikidze and 6 others versus Georgia » and found that Georgian government had violated Article 6 of the European Convention (right to a fair trial).

				<title> Lawyers involved in litigation of cases in the ECHR had a meeting in Rustavi</title>

				<description> A meeting of a network of practicing lawyers was held in Rustavi, on 20 March, 2009. Practicing lawyers discussed the problems related to the application procedures to the ECHR and litigation of the cases. The meeting was organized for lawyers with practical experience. Issues, such as article 39 and 5 of ECHR and execution of ECtHR decisions were discussed together with the experts of “Article 42 of the Constitution”.</description>

				<description> “Mr. Giorgi, on 11 September of the present year the former Chair of the Parliament of Georgia – Ms. Nino Bujranadze lodged a constitutional claim before the Constitutional Court of Georgia. She requests the Court to rule the provision of article 148 of the Tax Code of Georgia as unconstitutional with respect to Articles 21 and 42 of the Constitution of Georgia. The claimant also requests the Court to suspend the enforcement of the impugned provision before the final resolution of the case due to the fact that a public auction is set on 7 October of the present year with a purpose to sell her property and she might suffer irreparable damage because of the unconstitutional provision...</description>
